JOB SUMMARY Maintain quality processes and records to improve Total Quality. Perform internal process audits, inspection of parts, testing assemblies and creating periodic quality reports. Support quality, manufacturing and engineering, providing design improvement feedback to engineering department and clients. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS Perform inspection and testing of product Ensure implementation and enforcement of all quality assurance policies and procedures. Review drawings, manufacturing instructions and other documents for inspection specifications. Inspect 1st Articles and verify documentation is accurate and complete. Participate in the material review and chance control boards meetings. Assure compliance with ISO standards and company implementing policies and procedures. May conduct Internal ISO Audits. Assist in the investigation and evaluation of component defects and in-process, final and return product non-conformance's to determine root cause and appropriate corrective action. Inspect and test assemblies to company Process Standards. Perform in process inspection. Perform receiving inspection, utilizing calipers, micrometers, height gages, etc. as a means of inspection. Inspect solder joints using magnification aides. Inspect and test cables, harnesses, mechanical assemblies. Utilize magnifying devices, test equipment, and precision measuring instruments for inspecting product's at company Review work orders, drawings, Ml's or other specifications and confers with supervisor to determine product dimensions and specifications. Test electrical harnesses and cables for continuity using test equipment. Maintain records of inspection and test.           OTHER FUNCTIONS Inspect assemblies on assembly line and be designated as in process inspector. Inspect incoming parts and be designated as receiving inspector. 

Will report to the Manager, Quality Assurance.


Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

Minimum 3 Years Quality Assurance experience, preferably in a manufacturing organization

Skills/Characteristics Necessary to Perform Essential Functions:

Demonstrate computer literacy

Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Ability to utilize basic test and measuring equipment

Experience with conventional inspection and measurement equipment.

Good communication and team work skills with internal and external customers and suppliers.
