Weekend, Evenings - CareGiver

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers who can work EARLY MORNINGS, EVENINGS, and WEEKENDS to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Requirements

• Willing to work very early mornings (6am), evenings (5pm), weekends (any times)
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with privacy, dignity, and respect
• Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner
• Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check and TB (tuberculosis) test
• Good driving record with a valid CA driver's license and valid auto insurance (required for driving clients)
• Flexible work schedule, early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer's and/or Dementia Care
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
