Meet our professionals CGI: An employer of choice Position Description: This is a dynamic position on a high performing team working to deploy the next generation of cyber security technologies for a strategic federal customer. This position will furnish extensive tools and systems training as you to master and deploy new emerging cyber tools and techniques. In this role, you will help contribute to enhancing the security posture of the customer's networks by implementing best in class solutions that comply with the relevant cybersecurity, standards, directives, and policies. Specifically, in this role, you will draw on your previous experience as a technologist to implement existing solutions, and you will learn and explore new solutions to solve emerging problems for the customer Your future duties and responsibilities: Develop and update the system security plan, configuration of system controls, POA&M, security assessment reports and any other additional security documentation. * Perform security assessments of systems and networks and establish strict program control processes to ensure risk mitigation. * Provide continuous monitoring that includes software compliance and assurance, incident management, and vulnerability assessments. * Analyzes and drafts critical analysis for requirements and functionality. * Documentation of System Controls. * Supports third party security assessment activities. * Supports Testing Activities. * Conducts audit log management and supports cyber policy compliance. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: * Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required * 1-2 years of experience in either information security, software development, or systems engineering. * Experience in security assessments and audits, deploying secure code, or analyzing data. * Experience Identifying and mitigating security risks * A good understanding of security policy compliance * Must be willing to learn new technologies to implement emerging and innovative solutions.
