Sonbyrne Sales, Inc. retail division of Byrne Dairy, is looking for an experienced Catering Manager who is willing to grow with a family owned, operated and local company.  The Catering Manager will support the work of the  Food Service Department and Retail Stores.   

We are seeking a Catering Manager who is highly engaged, organized, and passionate about high quality food and has a creative eye for platter designing, food display production, delivering fantastic service and building catering sales.  

The Catering Manager will have a strong background in food catering and demonstrate a high level of creativity while possessing an understanding of every facet of food catering preparation and execution.  Will be responsible for the catering options in all our retail locations.  Will work directly with senior leadership and will have the potential to develop with the organization as we continue to grow. Responsible for gross margin planning and budgeting, advertising and promotion, development of food catering, marinating sales growth, profit and loss and cost control objectives.

•	Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit.
•	Successfully executing catering services exceeding customer’s expectations. 
•	Create strategic plan for catering at our retail stores, support our current catering operation and build our future clientele and future sales. 
•	Gross Margin planning and budgeting
•	Profit and Loss 
•	Ensures that all federal, state and company regulations and standards for product freshness, safety, refrigeration, and sanitation are met.
•	Research and develop strategies and plans which identify food catering opportunities and new project development.
•	Establish and implement short-and long range goals.
•	Support and collaborate with the marketing team on the execution of upcoming initiatives, marketing promotions and events.
•	Promote positive relations with vendors and distributors.
•	Monitor and assess competition to ensure that food catering retains an experiential advantage over the competition.
•	Works with Food Service Managers, Store Managers, and District Managers to maximize sales.
•	Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

•	Enter, transcribe, record, store or maintain information in either written or electronic form.
•	Correctly follow a given rule or set of rules.
•	Must be an excellent team player with the ability to manage and build relationships across departments.
•	Must be highly motivated.
•	Develop and/or implement new and current policies/procedures/standards and/or rules/regulations.
•	Undergraduate Degree in food service, hospitality, or restaurant
•	3-5 years’ work experience in catering leadership / management role
•	Strong knowledge of catering, food and beverage, and the retail/hospitality industry
