CAREGiver Spencer and Surrounding Area - Part-time

Join our Home Instead Senior Care family where you can laugh, learn, and love.  Home Instead is looking for compassionate, reliable CAREGivers to provide in-home care for our clients in Spencer and the surrounding area.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care, and compassion.  

Whether you are a student, a stay at home mom, retired or working another part time job, Home Instead Senior Care offers flexible work hours that will suit your needs with day, evening and/or overnight hours. 

The primary responsibilities of the CAREGiver include, but are not limited to"

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preperation
• Driving to appointments and shopping
• Medication assistance and reminders
• Assistance with daily cares
• Alzheimer's/Hospice Care
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner

The ideal condidate must"

• Have a current drivers license
• Have reliable transportation with current insurance coverage
• Be 18 years of age or older (21 years of age to transport clients)
• Be able to pass a drug screen and background study
• Have the willingness to learn and grow in a variety of diverse situations

No previous experience is required.  A CNA license and/or experience preferred.
