The plumbing electrical sales requires a proven team member that can complete projects as needed. It requires self management and motivation to keep the department condition excellent and the employees providing world class customer service. 

An ideal candidate will have experience in both Plumbing and Electrical in order to help customers through complex projects. This knowledge will also be necessary to insure that the correct items are ordered and in stock. 

Basic math is an essential skill, used in assisting customers and identifying the correct products. 

Some of the jobs essential functions include:
	
1.	Greet customers
2.	Answer phone
3.	Respond promptly when being paged.
4.	Attain a workable relationship with co-workers.
5.	Count money in cash drawers, complete tally sheets at close of day.
6.	Hand out and accept employment and credit applications.
7.	Assist customers in finding merchandise, or call for assistance.
8.	Be flexible to fill other positions when necessary.
9.	Cutting specific materials for customers. (pipe, chain, rope, tubing, etc)
10.	Operate point of sale computers, process debit, credit and gift card transactions, always use proper procedures to count back change.
11.	Process ROA’s (received on account) to customer’s account when requested.
12.	Responsible for knowing all Point of Sale procedures.
13.	Complete paperwork for special order merchandise at the time of purchase, fill out purchase order completely, always ask about freight charges and apply to invoice if applicable, also collect the required deposit.
14.	Understand the return policy and issue refunds or credits for merchandise being returned.  Accommodate customers’ requests unless they are clearly unreasonable and will defer to the manager in such a situation.
15.	Listen to customer complaints politely and try to resolve matter without calling the manager if possible, but use good judgment if assistance is required.  Excuse yourself to go find the manager and explain the situation to the manager before directing him to the customer.
16.	Prepare estimates. 
17.	Write out C.O.D invoices for deliveries pull inside items and put in designated area, also put paperwork on appropriate clipboard.
18.	Set up delivery times and confirm with yard personnel in charge.
19.	Handle phone inquires, discuss customer needs and recommend complimentary products for their project.
20.	Follow company policies and procedures on returned items brought back for resale or consignment.
21.	Log in and out when using the company vehicle.
22.	Obtain and organize all information available for educating our customers on products.

PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

1.	Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds or
more.
2.	Ability to climb ladders, crouch, or stretch as required.
