Strategic Sourcing Analyst

Categories may include, but are not limited to, Travel, Auto Programs, Shipping, Office Supplies, Cell Phones, and Business Machines. This position will be responsible for interacting with all levels of the company's organizational structure; including retail, sales, finance, payroll, and human resource personnel in managing the company's internal expenses.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze expense data, create and manage reports to discover opportunities for cost savings and improved services.  Support the Strategic Sourcing Manager in collecting and analyzing data for new and existing categories.
  • Serve as point of contact for employee questions, program issues, and vendor relations for various strategic sourcing programs.  Will create employee communications and training programs to ensure correct usage of internal systems and programs. 
  • Collaborate on the development of policy and assist as needed to promote compliance.
  • Review, audit, and code invoice to ensure accuracy and correct expense distribution of strategic sourcing programs to internal divisions.
  • Solicit and coordinate input from employees and department heads regarding vendor performance and bring issues and recommendations to the Strategic Sourcing Manager.  
  • Maintain and manage departmental data posted on the company’s intranet.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or equivalent experience is required
  • 1-3 years of experience as a financial analyst or in a financial environment
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills; position requires daily discussions with customers at all personnel levels.
  • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Works cooperatively with others toward common group objectives, demonstrates respect for the ideas and contributions of other team members, cultivates positive relationships with other associates, and provides assistance and support to others
