Nursing supervisor for Surgical Trauma ICU

Full Time - day Shift 

4 10 hour shifts a week 

Rotating days with weekend requirements

The Baylor Scott & White Health  ICU Supervisor Nursing   provides supervision to all nursing and unit-based personnel on a designated shift in the provision of professional patient-centered care.

The Supervisor  collaborates with the nursing manager in the planning, developing, implementing, evaluating and monitoring of policies and procedures, budgets and the allocation of resources, continuous quality improvement initiatives, educational programs and shared governance/shared leadership councils to achieve departmental and organizational goals and objectives.  Our ICU Nurse Supervisor,  supervises staff and provides professional nursing care for patients in accordance with physician orders and established policies and procedures to include performing assessments, implementing and evaluating treatments, and developing and documenting nursing care plans.

The ideal RN Supervisor candidate will have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to motivate a multi-disciplinary team.

• Graduate of an accredited program
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
