The Wholesale Automation and Control Technology group within Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) is seeking a PL/SQL Developer.  This is a senior level programming position and primary responsibilities will  include developing critical  services to support payments, customer on boarding and financial crimes process flows. 

This position will be a direct report of mine and play a pivotal role in managing and shaping applications under this group, as well as being a strong software engineer themselves. This team member will also be responsible for Enterprise Application Security Practices within the application portfolio to be in complaint with EIT guidelines.

This team member will leverage multiple technologies for effective development and support of IT solutions concert with partners in Wholesale Product, Operations and Technology. This team member will work on  Oracle database, complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, ER & flow  diagrams including data modeling and performance tuning with standards

In addition this team member will:

  •  Help manage and communicate application’s technology platform status, project pipeline and development priorities
  •  Focus on implementation and adoption of latest technologies and best practices for automation, configuration, monitoring and platform scalability.
  •  Assist with technical design documentation based on business functional and non-functional requirements, then work with other members of development teams to socialize and update design.
  •  Create and review development estimates from development teams with senior management and actively seek clarification and verification as appropriate
  •  Work closely with business partners in defining application requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 7+ years of database experience
  • 7+ years of data modeling experience
  • 7+ years of PL/SQL experience
  • 7+ years of development and implementation experience with applications, databases, or a combination of both
  • 7+ years of experience analyzing requirements and designing new solutions for application and database components
  • 6 + years of experience writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning

  • Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Database design and modeling experience, both logical and physical
  • Strong understanding of data loading and data cleansing principles
  • Experience in creating tables, views, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages etc.
  • Kafka streaming experience with KSQL
  • Experience with CI/CD tools GIT, JIRA
