KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS):
The person selected for this position will be part of the Cyber Security Innovation team within Enterprise Information Security practice. This person will participate in the development and implementation of highly complex internet and intranet applications on one or more diverse platforms.  Responsible for system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards. The ideal candidate will work with an existing team of developers to build solutions that combat or detect cyber threats that are in existence or emerging. We are looking for a seasoned developer with an interest in developing analytical software and solutions that leverage high-volume data sources, big data platforms, and distributed compute platforms. Key technologies include docker, javascript, nodeJS runtime, React javascript library, and MongoDB.   The person selected will also be required to make informed and data driven decision of emerging technologies that can further enhance the platform.

Responsibilities include:

  • Secure Application Development
  • Design, develop and maintain solutions that integrate cyber intelligence, malware forensics, and internal security logs so that advanced threats can be detected
  • Build and maintain high-quality, high-performance, scalable software
  • Engineer Data Processing Flows, languages and standards
  • Produce Functional System Design Documents
  • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Document and demonstrate solutions by writing documentation, diagrams and code comments
  • Debug and document existing systems through code analysis
  • DevOps development lifecycle using Agile framework


Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of web development experience; including programming and developing web applications



Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of JavaScript framework
  • Knowledge and understanding of Node.js
  • 3+ years of source or version control tools experience
  • Hadoop experience
  • Python experience
  • Web Services experience
  • Agile experience
  • Experience working in a large enterprise environment
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking or financial services industry
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in information technology
  • A BS/BA degree or higher in engineering



Other Desired Qualifications
  • Design / Development of UX/UI for analytical data and dashboard reporting
  • Developing Windows Services, Web Services, Restful Services and/or WCF Services from scratch
  • 3+ years of Linux OS development experience
  • Meteor and React Experience
  • Mongo DB Experience
