Test Technician - Full-time / Part-time

9 Month Contract to Hire

The candidate will be required to troubleshoot and assemble various test equipment for the Medical and instrumentation industry. They will be required to troubleshoot down to the component level utilizing various tools (logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.). The Technician will be required to help out customers troubleshoot their products over the phone and act as a Technical Support, which would be about 15% of their day.

- 2+ years of experience in a Technician role, troubleshooting down to the component level.
- 2+ years of experience with final inspection and assemble of products, using various hand tools.
- Must have experience using (Dvm, Oscilliscope, Frequency counter, Spectrum analyzer, logic analyzer).
- Must be comfortable working with customers and talking over the phone.
- Must be able to read and understand Electrical Schematics
- No education is required but an AA in Electronics is preferred
- Experience with Electo-Mechanical products such as Medical Device or Instruments used in Biotech, would be open to someone having RF or Microwave experience as well.
