Summary:
The Birthday Party Leaders and Assistants are tasked with executing fun and engaging birthday parties for acac members and guests.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Ensures all Birthday Party materials and supplies are available prior to the start of the event
  • Ensure party room is set-up in time for the start of the party, which includes, but is not limited to, ensuring room is clean and that room furniture is arranged properly; setting up table cloths, napkins, cups, and utensils; ensuring balloons are blown up and in the room; and ensuring correct food items (cupcakes/cake) are brought out
  • Helps to order and secure all necessary food and beverage items
  • Provides consistent, friendly, and exceptional service to all birthday party guests
  • Seeks to engage all participants during the parties
  • Learns and uses acac’s emergency procedures including incident reports
  • Implements and executes fun and stimulating activities
  • Develops relationships with children and their parents that foster a high level of trust and sense of security
  • Ensures each room is clean prior to and after each party, which includes, but is not limited to, mopping floors, wiping down tables and counters, sweeping, and collecting and disposing of trash
  • Helps maintain an overall safe and clean site even if outside department responsibilities
  • Arrives to work with enough time to prepare and set up birthday room and supplies
