Currently working on behalf of AAA in the Utica, NY hire to hire for skilled customer service associates to join the team of an excellent company with great benefits, overtime opportunity and multiple shifts!

This individual will be responsible for recording requests for emergency road service and responding to inquiries about products, services and membership benefits.

This is a permanent position with opportunity for financial growth!

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming emergency road services call and obtain detailed information
  • Enter information into database such as the name of club member, location of disabled vehicle and nature of vehicle malfunction
  • Respond to calls form members and potential members with questions about AAA products, services and membership benefits
  • Cross sell upgrades and recommend products and services
  • Relay billing discrepancies to customer care specialist
  • Obtain payment information and enter into the database
  • Add or delete members to master coverage
  • Provide driving directions in incoming callers by using direction software

Job Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Engage with distressed customers and create a positive situation
  • Being reliable and driven
  • One year of related experience (customer service) and or training OR equivalent education and experience combined
  • Knowledge of database software (or ability to quickly learn and demonstrate computer skills)
  • Effective and professional communication skills
  • High volume call center - candidates will need to be able to handle 70-100 calls per shift

Additional Info:

  • Training class 1: November 18th
  • Training class 2: December 9th
  • 1st, 2nd shifts available, as well as both full-time and part-time shift time slots (Please let us know what works best for you)
  • Candidates schedule will be consistent
