Customer Service Representative

Job Functions/ Overview

  • Interacting with customers on orders
  • Routing shipments and order processing
  • Processing orders making sure items are arriving on-time to customers
  • Faxing/Emailing quotes and updating excel spreadsheets daily
  • Looking for individuals who are customer service oriented/detail oriented
  • Customer service (30-40 calls a day) to a highly educated customer base
  • Enter 24 Alerts for deliveries per day first thing in the morning- order entry
  • Inputting information into AS400 system

Additional Requirements

  • Candidate must be able to work at a fast pace and handle all conversations whether it is with truck drivers or customers, able to handle all personalities over the phone
  • 3+ years in a consistent Customer Service role
  • Previous professional office experience
  • Candidate must have prior entry knowledge around logistics, experience is a plus!
  • Very detail oriented
