Assembler/Operator

Operate presses, assembly fixtures and sealing machines to cut and assemble products (heated blankets and waffle grid foam mat)
Apply silicone sealant using semi-automatic hand operator
Cuts materials, according to specifications, or cut excess material or thread from finished product
Fold together materials, such as cloth, foam rubber, plastic to prepare for machine sewing
Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies
Verifies specifications by measuring the completed component
Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
