Facilities Project Engineer - Full-time / Part-time

Immediate need to hire a Facilities/Plant Mechanical Engineer to manage assigned projects and provide guidance in troubleshooting problems of machinery, equipment, building, or in the facility. This role is overseeing smaller in cost industrial equipment projects.

Job Duties:

• Redesign and manage repair or rebuild of plant equipment.
• Plan and coordinate the design and layout of equipment in order to optimize the use of available space and improve production, operating efficiency and safety.
• Estimate costs, including equipment, installation, materials, labor, etc.
• Monitor and manage the construction/installation process while working with internal maintenance personnel and outside contractors.
• Make equipment design layouts and specify material handling equipment that utilize the principles of stress analysis, mechanics, kinematics, machine and tool design, strength of materials, and other physical sciences.
• This role will be managing equipment, installation, maintenance, and technical expertise of equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or Science.
• 3-4+ years of experience around Industrial Equipment
• AutoCAD, Solidworks or Creo experience
• 3-4+ years' experience working in Engineering Design, Project Management and or Technical Work
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Strong analytic skills to analyze and resolve difficult problems effectively and implement long term solutions
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
