Essential Duties/Responsibilities: :
Under the direction of the Spa Manager, the incumbent is responsible for providing professional, efficient and effective service to spa guests.
• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Ability to be proactive and/or responsive in all Guest service situations, including the ability to resolve challenging Guest situations.
• Basic office duties – filing and organization.
• In the performance of daily duties, be proactive in maintaining a clean and well-stocked work area.
• Perform Guest Spa Check-In’s and Check-Out’s in an efficient manner.
• Schedule appointment for spa, salon & barber services, taking into consideration timing of the services and appropriate booking order when possible.
• Reserve poolside cabanas.
• Notify and introduce the guest by last name to the spa clerk.
• Maintain accurate records of receipts by collecting, totaling and submitting all receipts and cash as specified by the policies and procedures.
• Secure the spa nightly by ensuring the premises is locked and all electrical equipment has been turned off.
• Answer and handle all telephone calls.
• Ability to maintain performance standards in a high Guest contact environment.
• Ability to internally promote and sell on-site services and experiences.
• Ability to assist with basic retail functions, including stocking and inventory.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
• Ensure prompt and discrete notification to senior management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts and/or internal ethics violations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Spa service and/or custodial experience in a Spa or similar environment preferred.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: : M
ust have solid decision-making, organization, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal communication skills are required. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationships with all individuals. Ability to work occasional overtime and irregular hours.
