Job Description
Kelly Services in partnership with Arvato, the leading player in the supply chain industry, is hiring for a Logistics Coordinator! Now is your chance to start a new career with a company that recognizes that their employees are what makes them a great company! Duties:
- Perform all data entry for shipping document creation and carrier assignment
- Document, update and follow procedures and quality processes
- Use carrier web sites to obtain rates, check transit and generate paperwork
- Load carriers as needed using a fork lift, walkie-rider or hand jack
- Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor specific requirements
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Able to become forklift certified
- -Knowledge with Microsoft (word and excel)
- -Knowledge with SAP Systems
- Flexibility to work Overtime, adjusted hours or occasional weekends a must.
- Experience with carrier shipping systems - UPS, DHL, and FEDEX
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated to work independently with minimum Supervision
Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm Monday -Friday
Pay: $15.50 /hr.
