If you are experienced in retail, are an experienced handyman or retired construction worker, you are the perfect candidate to be a phenomenal sales associate at Downtown Ace Hardware.

Compensation is $13.50-$15 per hour plus incentive opportunities.  This is a part time position, 25-30 hours per week,  evenings (3pm-8pm) and weekend shifts. You MUST have previous retail experience or construction/handyman experience. 

Sales Associates will be responsible for offering helpful solutions to customers’ home maintenance and improvement needs. You will be expected to increase sales. Some of your tasks will include cleaning and maintaining displays; building your sales skills and product knowledge through training; and maintaining safety, security and business integrity.  

We are located in the heart of Hillcrest and are the go-to hardware store for all our customers.

• Previous retail/construction/handyman experience REQUIRED
• Must be available for evenings (3pm-8pm) and weekends
• Must be able to provide legendary customer service 
• Professional in appearance and actions 
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time 
• Ability to lift 50lbs 
• Bilingual - Spanish/English is a PLUS, but not required
• High School or GED equivalent required. 
• Background check will be required prior to hire
