Field Supervisor - Architectural Metal and Glass - Full-time / Part-time

Well-established architectural metal and glass company located in Western Suffolk County seeks a Field Supervisor.

Main objective:

To provide on-site coordination for all phases of projects, including coordinating manpower, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed.

Essential Functions:

• Supervise day to day field operations
• Conduct Surveys, Perform Field Measurements, and Prepare estimates for new opportunities.
• Supervise Field Crews
• Schedule manpower ensure timely project completion
• Communicate with project team regarding project job / work orders, installation schedules and project deployment.
• Proactively Identify conflicts, and determine resolution, communicate and deploy with field technicians and project team(s).
• Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being installed
• Coordinate with project team to ensuring that job / work orders are completed, inclusive of: materials, tools and equipment requests are completed and accurately deployed to the field for scheduled installations
• Attend job site meetings as required

Job Requirements

• Experience in Architectural Metal & Glass Required
• Experience running Exterior Window Modification, and Architectural Metal & Glass Projects Required
• 5 years Minimum Experience as a Project Manager and/or Superintendent
• Must be proficient with Computers Mac / Windows
• Microsoft Office (Excel & Word)
