Male Caregiver - Part-time

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for a few GOOD MEN and women who are caring and compassionate to become CAREGivers and help us in our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Requirements

• Male caregiver with some experience (per clients request)
• Fluent in any other language a plus
• Ability to treat and care for male seniors and their property with privacy, dignity, and respect
• Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner
• Ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check and TB (tuberculosis) test
• Good driving record with a valid CA driver's license and valid auto insurance (required for driving clients)
• Flexible work schedule, early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer's and/or Dementia Care
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
