Home Instead Senior Care located in Mechanicsburg is looking for a professional Training and Development Coordinator to join our team.  Their primary responsibility is the execution and organization of all training programs for CAREGivers.  Primary responsibilities:
  • Schedule and conduct CAREGiver orientation, in-services, Alzheimer's training and additional training as needed
  • Schedule and conduct annual CAREGiver reviews
  • Develop engagement strategies
  • Create a monthly training calendar
  • Enter and maintain accurate client and CAREGiver records in the operating system
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with all levels of staff
  • Evaluate and update all Orientation and training materials as needed
  • Assist Human Resources to develop, plan and facilitate quarterly CAREGiver meetings
  • Conduct offsite training sessions to engage and educate the community
  • Ensure Home Instead Senior Care standards are met and upheld
Requirements:  
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Experience in home health care, senior care, or CNA certificate with 2 years experience preferred 
  • Clean background check and drug test
  • Valid driver's license
