CAREGiver - On Call - Full-time

This is primarily a CAREGiver position split between daytime, evening, overnight, or weekend &ldquoon-call&rdquo hours.  Some of the time will be spent &ldquoon-call&rdquo in the office during the day and other times at home during the evening ready to fill shifts that the regular CAREGivers were not able to fulfill.  The On-Call CAREGiver shift could be for any of our clients in Shawnee, Douglas, or Franklin Counties.  Travel to those counties or surrounding areas is required.  Some days are quiet, some are hectic.  It isn't predictable.

Reliability, excellent caregiving and communication skills and a strong desire to serve our senior population are a must!  There is opportunity for growth into management positions.

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age requirement 21 years old (will consider candidates that will turn 21 within 6 months).
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check, drug screen and be bondable/insurable
• You must own your own vehicle, possess a valid driver's license and auto insurance at all times
• Capable of working with highly confidential information
• You must have access to a computer & cell phone or a smart phone for communication
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate oral and written instruction in the English Language
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a compassionate team
• Ability to establish effective relationships with individuals, families, and team members
