$55K-$75K exempt Marketing and Sales Manager position in Pasadena, CA with benefits and a quarterly bonus program.  Home Instead Senior Care Pasadena is seeking a driven Marketing and Sales Manager to help us change the face of aging in our community.   

The Home Care Marketing and Sales Manager (i.e., Home Care Consultant or HCC) is responsible for the management of sales and relationships with targeted key referral customers and community organizations (i.e., Referral Provide Network or RPN) for the Home Instead Senior Care Pasadena office. 
The HCC maintains the company's existing relationships with key RPN's, in addition to developing and managing new RPN relationships.  The HCC serves as the interface between the community we serve, the franchise case management team and franchise leadership. The HCC serves to understand the customer's demands, develops a plan on how to meet these demands, markets our brand and local differentiation, and generate sales inquiries for the company as a result.  This leadership role requires an understanding of the Home Care industry, creativity, initiative, strong communication and presentation skills, and a willingness to work as a team player to support all functions within the organization.

Primary Responsibilities:                                                                              

  • Reflect the core values of Prescott Sanchez, Inc. (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
  • Must maintain the minimum HCC Metric Standards listed under Critical Numbers
  • Identify referral providers both inside and outside of our franchise territory
  • Develop strong working relationships with RPN by following the consultative sales process
  • Maintain ongoing communication and a consistent follow-up schedule with potential and existing RPN members
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an in-service program to educate RPN members on various topics that highlights the supportive role Home Instead plays in adult care
  • Coordinate exhibitor or networking opportunities to promote the franchise
  • Recognize and pursue opportunities to modify service plans to best support the ongoing needs of clients and promote to RPN
  • Document and monitor RPN activities within the current software platform (e.g., Salesforces), such as service inquires referrals by RPN members, conversion of service inquires to clients, etc.
  • Stay within allocated marketing budget
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, CAREGivers, clients and family members
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensurethat they are communicated and implemented within the team

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Work with franchise leadership to analyze the department's budget. Maintain the budget as monies are dispersed throughout the department needs of service, marketing and or advertising.
  • Meetings - Having regular meetings to discuss the marketing, service products, advertising and franchise goals as needed and required
  • Deadlines &ndash Agreeing to deadlines for specific tasks with the RPN's., internal clients and franchise mandatory group meetings
  • Management &ndash Must manage own portfolio of Key accounts. Pull together key players within the franchise team.

Critical Numbers:

  • &ge 33% Total Revenue from RPN referrals
  • 12 weekly scheduled in-person RPN Impressions (> 15 minutes)
  • 7 Service Inquiries per week from an RPN source

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • College degree required
  • 4-10 years of experience in home care, health care or senior-related industry required, an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered.  
    • Former CCRC Administrator, Wellness Director, or Nurse a plus.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • There are no direct report supervisory responsibility with the HCC role, however, the role is ultimately responsible for all delegated task to office resources.

  • Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Prescott Sanchez, Inc. (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
  • Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively
  • Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines
  • Must demonstrate effective interpersonal skills as well as sound judgment and good decision-making skills
  • Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with office standards, practices, policies and procedures
  • Must demonstrate knowledge of the senior care industry
  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly work

  • Must have the ability to operate office equipment
  • Must be patient and congenial on the telephone
