Your Role as the Accounting Supervisor
As the Accounting Supervisor, you will oversee a small accounting team to ensure all accounting operations are performed in a timely manner, with a focus on quality. You will perform and oversee all general ledger functions. Responsibilities include:
Participate in staff meetings
Oversee performance reviews, counseling, etc for accounting team
Perform month end accounting functions
Review and reconcile bank reconciliations
Prepare for internal and external audits
Perform general ledger functions
Background Profile
Expertise in accounting processes- preferably within a financial institution although not required.
Previous supervisory experience
Strong analytical and communication skills
Excellent ability to work within computer and data base systems
Four year degree preferred
