Full Time Recruiting Coordinator SAS

 

SAS Retail Services provides national retail merchandising services to a host of fortune 500 CPG companies, distributors, and wholesalers, within the grocery, mass, home/hardware, and drug channels. We are looking to hire a Recruiter Coordinator, who will handle all aspects of recruiting.

 

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for the selection and hiring of new employees, including setting up telephone and face-to-face interviews. This associate will track and monitor new hire paperwork, work with other Recruiters to coordinate applicant souring, and administer new hire orientation programs. The Recruiting Coordinator will participate in streamlining processes to improve recruiting and retention effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Hiring Managers and Recruiting staff on sourcing techniques, recruitment strategies, interviews and candidate recommendations.
  • Develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies to ensure availability of qualified candidates.
  • Coordinate and resolve all recruitment needs with the appropriate hiring manager.
  • Develop job postings.
  • Screen and test, if applicable, all candidates.
  • Manage the Recruitment module of applicant tracking system – input recruitment and data in system in a timely manner.
  • Contribute in meetings to update appropriate parties of recruitment needs.
  • Participate in applicant sourcing strategies to proactively identify qualified applicants.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Required: High School Diploma or GED, 5 years recruitment experience in a high-volume roll.
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in related field, exposure to Federal, State and local employment laws, certificate in Human Resources Management.
  • Experience with Human Resources Information System (HRIS).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to intuitively understand the needs of hiring managers, and translate insights into action with cross-functional team partners
  • Excellent networking skills with a focus on customer experience and proficient communication.
