POSITION SUMMARY
As a bartender at Bomba Tacos & Rum, you are responsible for providing timely, hospitable service while preparing consistent, high quality beverages for our guests and service bar.  You must become proficient in our TOAST POS system.  As a primary member of the front of the house (and restaurant) team, you have the opportunity to greatly influence the quality of our guest’s experience.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
•	Be 21 years of age.
•	Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
•	Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
•	Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
•	Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
•	Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
•	Taking beverage orders from our guests and service bar.
•	Preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Paladar Latin Kitchen & Rum Bar’s drink recipes.
•	Building regulars by recognizing our guests, learning their names, what they drink, etc.
•	Ringing in all drink orders accurately and immediately into Aloha.
•	Accepting guest payments, processing credit card charges and making change (if applicable).
•	Washing and sterilizing glassware.
•	Preparing all garnishes for drinks.
•	Maintaining all bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
•	Clearing and resetting the bar top and tables in the bar area.
•	Presenting the appropriate menus, making recommendations and answering questions regarding our food and beverages.
•	Maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas.
•	Receiving and serving food orders to guests seated at the bar.
•	Reporting all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant manager.
•	Assisting in the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
•	Completing the corresponding checklists in regards to setting up, maintaining throughout the shift, and closing the bar.
•	Completing all weekly cleaning duties of the bar.
•	Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
