Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of Warehouse Operator will be responsible but not limited to the following specific duties:

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Accurately and efficiently receiving, stocking, order filling and shipping
• Operate power order picking equipment to fill customer and branch orders
• Operate power stocking equipment to receive and place material into stock
• Operate power fork truck equipment to load trailers for domestic and international destinations
• Pack and check material for shipment
• Miscellaneous duties such as housekeeping, changing batteries, other duties as assigned
• Perform all required duties in a safe manner and follow established policies and procedures
• Position may require working either a second or third shift depending on shift availability

This position will require:

• Weekend work as needed
• Overtime as needed
• Holidays as needed
• Short notice shift coverage
• Specific hours/shifts:
• 2nd Shift 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

• 3rd Shift 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.

• Frequent physical demands including working up to 25 feet heights

This position may require:

• Frequent physical demands including the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Basic Qualifications:

• Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating a fork lift
• Basic computer skills
• Demonstrated attention to detail
• Ability to communicate using both written and verbal skills

Location: Forest City, Iowa

Qualified applicants will be required to take and pass 3M employment testing as a part of the selection process.
