About this job

POSITION SUMMARY:

Accountable for leading, developing and optimizing customer strategies utilizing a robust database of customer information compiled from multiple sources.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Ability to lead the growth of the customer database (number of names/information) through identifying gaps, working with partners and vendors, and creatively find new ways to solicit customers. 35%
  • Ability to provide strategic direction on how to build circulation segmentations for every event based on understanding of the business, customers, and data. 20%
  • Manage the compilation of customer information from multiple data sources, which will be used to create meaningful data insights to solve business problems. 15%
  • Work closely with Business Analytics and IT partners across the business to have customer data accessible and be able to mine insights to build customer segmentation and direct-to-consumer strategies 15%
  • Analyze, interpret, and manage customer data compiled from multiple sources to drive business activities and decisions. Drive cross-functional business strategy through leading effective communication of findings and recommendations to leadership. 10%
  • Maintain knowledge regarding changing business trends, technology and compliance(for example California Customer Protection Act) and apply to business practices involving customer data. 5%

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Data Sciences or Marketing

Experience: 4 ? 6 + years

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY:
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about building and managing a customer database list used for direct mail
  • Strong data analytical thinking skills
  • Proficient in MS Programs(Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Highly collaborative with cross functional business partners
  • Ability to influence all levels of organization including executive leadership
  • Ability to identify and seek needed information/research skills
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

Minimal Travel Involved : 10%
