Autocad Drafter - Full-time / Part-time

Job Duties:

• Preparing CAD submittal drawings based on contract drawings, specifications and quotations provided for the fabrication department
• Structural layouts for grating, handrail and platforms, similar to steel details only in fiberglass
• May be on the shop floor during slow time, so needs to be willing to be mechanical

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must have 6 months - 4 years experience working with AUTO CAD
• Ability to read and understand contract drawings and submit layout drawings to validate against site conditions
• Must have a high school diploma or 2 year degree
• Prefer someone with structural experience or fiberglass, but not necessary
• They are open to someone having a different CAD package, but they must be willing to learn AutoCAD
• Attention to detail
• Interpret prints to draw
• Customer interaction

Work Environment:

• They will be working in a smaller group setting. They will be cross functionally working with other drafters, designers, engineers and departments
• Smaller, laid-back environment
• People like working there because of the family feel
