Lead CAREgiver

We are looking for an experienced CAREGiving Professional to serve as a Lead CAREGiver in our organization.

 

This dedicated role will include both scheduled hours and on-call and involve the following:

 

Responsibilities:

• work a minimum of 30 hours per week with availability of 72 hours per week or more.
• will include days / evenings / overnights / 24's
• will include traveling anywhere in territory
• work every other weekend
• ability to pick up shifts at a moments notice
• facilitating client / caregiver introductions as assigned
• provide in home training for CAREGivers as needed
• regularly communicate with supervisors and staff
• support administrative tasks as needed including assisting with scheduling and other clerical duties as needed in the franchise office.
• perform all personal care duties and any nurse delegated tasks within care plan

Minimum Qualifications:

• Reliable & insured vehicle
• valid MN drivers license
• pass all background screening
• Must be bond-able throughout employment as to provide transportation for clients
• Must have clean motor vehicle record and all other criminal background screenings
• Must pass drug test
• Ability to care for clients with dignity and respect
• Demonstrates a positive attitude and influence for other CAREGivers
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and takes the initiative
• Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel or reach
• Must be able to withstand exposure to various living environments including, but not limited to: pets, smoking clients, dust and cleaning solutions
