Logistics Coordinator

Summary

Aerotek is looking for qualified candidates to come and work for a leading Commodities Firm within the Stamford, CT area! We are looking for someone to work in a Logistics Coordinator role and be able to professionally deal with clients in a professional manner.

Description

• Manage any activity moving products from plant or from resale to customers via all modes or terminals

• Execute processes for liquid terminals, shipments to and from these terminals

• Handle plant direct shipments of our liquid products to customers

• Communicate with plant, sales, accounting, outside suppliers and others as necessary

• research and recommend new terminal opportunities in order to procure more cost-effective logistics
• Generate sales orders as needed

Qualifications

• 1 + years of logistics experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Financial Service experience preferred
• Proficient within Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)

Details

Shift: Monday - Friday: 9:00am-6:00pm

Compensation: $20-25 per hour (depending on experience)
