Summary Description:

Interface with the Account Manager, Corporate Security Team, other facility representatives, security personnel, and other contractors and vendors.

Responsibilities Major Duties: The Security and Safety Officer is responsible for the following duties:
Operational:
- Assists on site officers in the day-to-day security/safety duties and related activities of all the sites. Responds to emergencies and service calls as required.
- Assist the Account Manager in the implementation of the site objectives.
- Assist the Account Manager to evaluate security/safety performance, monitor and determine operational effectiveness, service quality and compliance with existing policies, procedures, programs and activities.
- Assist the Account Manager in implementation of new programs or program enhancements to improve site productivity, responsiveness, and quality.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Monitoring and reviewing cameras for unusually activates
- Assisting employees/visitors at the front desk -issuing visitor badge or temp badges(EDH/RC/Lodi)
- Assisting lobby officers with SMP Tickets task
- CCURE and Genetec protocol/ procedure
- Safety inspections
- Frequent patrol of the site and assisting bike patrol officers
- Reviewing ERP’s
- Badge return update in CCURE (EDH – once trained completed all other training)
- BSIS (Current) Guard Card
- Powers to Arrest Certificate (8-hour Course taken to get your BSIS Guard Card)
- 1-2 Years Security Experience in Retail and Customer Service
- Great Communication Skills with Customers and the Clients
- Report Writing Skills
- Radio and Technology based communication and monitoring experience
- Access Control monitoring
- Loss Prevention experience
- Clean professional appearance (Company Grooming Standards)
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be able to successfully fulfill post duties
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to pass drug screening
- Must be able to pass background check
- Should be at least 18 years of age or older as required by applicable law
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

- Prior Military
- Higher Education
- 2-3 Years in High End Security and or Customer Service/Concierge experience
