About this job

Requirements:

-           Must have minimum 2 years kitchen experience

-           Must understand and speak English

-           Must have reliable transportation to and from work

 

Job Description:

-           Cut and clean whole vegetables

-           Cut and clean bones for soup stocks

-           Weigh and portion ingredients to exact measurements

-           Cut meats both by hand and machine

-           Carry heavy stock pots and transfer heavy items on a daily basis

-           Must know proper dishwashing and sanitization methods to meet health codes

-           Properly store all back of house items in designated areas

-           Must be a quick learner

-           Ability to look for work during slow hours

-           Must be able to lift 30-50lbs frequently

-           Must be able to bend, reach, and stand for long hours

 

It's best if the applicant lives within the proximity of the restaurant so commuting is not an issue. We are looking for someone to start immediately. Please apply if you are serious and ready to commit to the job for long-term. NO SHORT-TERM HIRE! We look forward to hearing from you.

 

Starting Pay: $17- $18 (with experience)

Bonus: $500 Sign-on Bonus for full-time position only
