What Will You Be Doing?

The Container Store's only Staten Island location is hiring!

We're looking for fun, energetic "early birds" to support the visual presentation of our store and our fabulous brand; shifts are Tuesday mornings starting at 5 or 6am in a stock associate position. T his team is responsible for getting the merchandise perfectly presented on the shelves, including cleaning and making sure each item has a sign. This is a very physical job that requires bending, lifting, climbing ladders, and using pallet jacks and box knives. After merchandising the store, employees then move into roles on the sales floor to assist our customers to accomplish projects, designing their dream spaces and get their lives organized.

Outside of stock associcates positions, we're also looking for applicants who are available to work the sales floor during weekday evenings and on Sundays.

Responsibilities

In merchandising, you are…
  • Organizing and ensuring we have a well-merchandised store.
  • Presenting products, unloading trucks, lifting boxes, climbing ladders and cleaning the store.
  • Working with a great team, surrounded by lively music, resulting in a huge sense of accomplishment.
Additional responsibilities include inventory, signage, props, samples, cleaning and every merchandising detail that sets The Container Store apart from other retailers.
