Aerotek is looking to hire a Automation Technician in the Morristown, TN area. This is a direct Hire position and is looking to start immediately. The position starts at $25/HR. The responsibilities and qualifications for the positions are listed below:
Job Description:
- Troubleshoot, Program, and backup all PLC's and interfaces
- Create and troubleshoot the PLC network including designing layout to support new equipment lines
- Ensure PLC laptops have updated software to communicate to all equipment
- Train Maintenance Personnel on PLC troubleshooting and reading ladder logic
- Support Palletizing operation by learning Yaskawa Robotics
- Installation, modification, and maintenance of equipment, according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
- Maintenance of plant building, equipment, and machinery.
- Maintain clean equipment and shop area.
- Flexible work schedule covering all shifts and some weekends
- 2-3 years' experience in Automation Technology, preferably in a food production environment
- Proficient with Excel and Word and able to administer and use PM program software
- Flexible hours
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
