Aerotek is searching for 2 Quality Control Inspectors for a growing Aerospace company near Los Alamitos!
These are contract to hire openings and offer both 1st an 2nd shift.
Qualified candidates need to have at least 3 years of aerospace QC experience doing first article inspections.
JOB FUNCTION
- Determines most practical inspection method and technique; plans sequence of operation; selects precision measuring instruments and equipment to dimensionally inspect units.
- Conducts first article, on-call, floor surveillance and final inspection assignments; visually and dimensionally inspects a wide variety of airframes parts and aerospace assemblies/components.
- Inspects incoming metallic and fiber materials, plastic and rubber compounds for correct formulation call- out, serialization, identification, cure date and shelf life
