Technician -Pharmacy - Pharmacy Services IP 001 - Full-Time,7 on/7 off - Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital - Binghamton, NY

915PM - 715AM; Monday - Sunday every other week; 7 on / 7 off.

What You Will Do

As an Associate with Our Lady of Lourdes Memorial Hospital - NY, you will have the opportunity to provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

• Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
• Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department.
• Repackages bulk medications.
• Receives and stores incoming supplies.
• Serves as liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professional by providing information as necessary.

What You Will Need

Licenses/Certifications/Registration:

• Preferred Credential(s):
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB). 
  • Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcare Association. 

Education & Work Experience:

• High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.
• If not a Certified Pharmacy Technician at time of hire the associate has 12 months to obtain certification.
