Host- Currents *Plus Tips* - Full-time / Part-time

SUMMARY: To welcome guests and provide superior service. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Greet and seat guests following rotation procedures
 Ask the guest for feedback on their meal and invite them back as they depart
 Operate point-of-sales system and handle cash and cash equivalents
 Complete daily register transactions and make vault deposits
 Answer questions, and offer event and promotional information
 Assist with cleaning floors, arranging tables and filling water glasses and coffee cups
 Keep management updated on business flow
 Stock cashier supplies and complete daily and weekly cleaning duties

KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Knowledge and Certification
Required:
 6 months restaurant experience
 Previous cash handling experience

Preferred:
 High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
 Previous guest service experience
 Knowledge of point-of-sales software

Skills
Required:
 Accurate and detail-oriented
 Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
 Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
 Above average math skills
