A + Direct Care (Hampden County) - Full-time / Part-time

Direct Care Positions Start at $13.13hr

Pathlight is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable staff to perform a variety of direct care responsibilities to support individuals with complex medical & developmental disabilities with the assistance of program nursing.

Responsibilities include:

• Take the individuals to community activities/outings: (movies, dinner, concerts, etc.) - at no cost to you!
• Transporting/escorting individuals to their appointments
• Build trust and empathy through consistent and meaningful communication
• Administering medications and utilizing assistive medical devices
• Promoting positive behavior
• Assist in the implementation of medical, behavioral, and/or clinical team care plans.
• Assisting with tasks related to personal hygiene which may include: feeding, dressing, bathing, restroom assistance, etc.
• Complete housekeeping, laundering and general maintenance duties as assigned

Various schedules available to fill the Full time, Part time and Per Diem Direct Care position openings in Hampden County.

No experience necessary, Pathlight will train the right candidate!

Do you meet our Job Qualifications?

Are you at least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Do you have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Do you have an acceptable driving record
• Can you provide two professional references
• Can you pass a CORI
