MBD (Model Based Design) Engineer:

Contract: 24+ months guaranteed (Generally renewed annually)

Position Description:

The Model Based Design Core Team is currently looking for a highly qualified and motivated engineer to join the team in the position of Model Based Design tools development Engineer.

This position will be responsible for the development of Matlab based tools and methods and the deployment of those tools to control modeling engineering communities at Ford.

Position candidates should have a keen interest in model-based design using Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and software development experience using C and Matlab m-script.

•Strong coding skills primarily in C and Matlab

•Strong written and verbal skills

•Strong communication skills

•Strong problem solving skills and ability to understand and manage complex systems

•Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize work

•Ability to work within a diverse team and adapt to a dynamic working environment

Experience Required:

• Experience in Matlab/Simulink modeling, simulation, and code generation of control system models is desired.
• Experience in software development with compiled and interpreted languages including C, Python, Java and Matlab
• Experience in Model Based Design for AUTOSAR and embedded real-time targets

Education Required:

• BS or MS (preferred) in Software/Computer/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science
