Production Positions Available - Part-time

Job Description

Do you like working with your hands?? Are you looking for a warehouse environment job?? Kelly Services is looking to hire employees for one of our customers here in Santa Cruz.

The selected candidates will be working in the production of vitamins in gummy form and will be responsible for the following:

- Pack product to specification.

- Understand and follow recipes and written instructions
- Maintain work area in a clean and sanitary condition
- Able to operate equipment safely and efficiently as needed for each job
- Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
- Must be capable of safely learning to operate power equipment
- Work in a teamwork environment and perform under GMP and Safety guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
- Operate depositors, kitchen/cooking equipment to customer specifications
- Complete understanding of all production documentation
- Meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI-s) production goals
- Ability to comprehend and exercise all skills including math, language, computer, material tracking, etc.

- Work under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP-s), safety, sanitation guidelines
- Ability to interact with computer software in cases like: read production schedules, enter downtime, scrap, units produced, etc.

- Housekeeping responsibility maintained with GMP/NSF standards adherents (includes routine/deep, as well as caustic cleaning)
- Maintain safe work environment
- Assuring use of raw materials to specifications
- Assist in training as needed
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements

- High School Diploma or equivalent
