JOB SUMMARY:
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair of company buildings and equipment for the manufacturing shops and offices at various locations, under the supervision and guidance of the Operations Manager. The position is also responsible for contacting equipment vendors and manufactures for quotes on parts and services. Monitor and analyze existing company equipment processes for efficiency and production profitability to provide improvement recommendations. Other duties as assigned.

Provide technical and mechanical support for company buildings and equipment.
Perform general manufacturing support to include:
Welding.
Painting.
Electrical and hydraulic repairs and maintenance.
Contact equipment vendors by phone or email for quotes on parts and services for Operations Manager review and approval.
Proactively address and resolve all equipment concerns before they become urgent and/or go out of service.
Analyze existing equipment processes for improved efficiency and production profitability to provide recommendations to Operations Manager.
Create and maintain company forms and documents for department(s) and management use.
Coordinate and work with other departments for company projects

Requirements
• Minimum Education: High School Graduate or GED; professional certification or Associates degree preferred in a related field.
• Previous Manufacturing Maintenance or Technical support experience, 2+ yrs.
Previous electrical and hydraulic experience, 2+ yrs.
Basic to Intermediate computer software skills and experience with Microsoft Office software (ie Outlook, Word, Excel).
Excellent problem solving skills and strong decision making skills with a proactive approach.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Excellent customer service and task follow thru skills.
Ability to multi-task effectively and efficiently in a face paced environment.
Excellent organization and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
Ability and desire to want to grow and be a team player.
