Job Description

The Field CAREGiver Manager performs a variety of duties that ensure the highest quality service to clients. They are to reflect the Core Values of Home Instead and be a skilled role model for all other CAREGivers. The Field CAREGiver Manager is placed on client assignments that fills a gap in service and is involved in coaching and mentoring CAREGivers as well as other duties in the area of client services and care management.

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Alzheimer's Care (We train)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide high quality services to clients
• Provide in-home training for IADL's (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living) and ADL's (Activities of Daily Living) to CAREGivers
• Report all client and CAREGiver issues to ensure their problems are resolved
• Provide caregiver relief and coverage for short notice call outs
• Assist in the stabilization of new clients and high needs clients
• Work with new CAREGivers in &ldquoShadow Shifts&rdquo for teaching, mentoring and preparing them to assume this client or like clients

Requirements to be a Field CAREGiver Manager:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Be a good and patient listener in a friendly and polite manner,

• Must have the availability to work evenings or weekends as required

• Must be able to work in all Home Instead Senior Care areas
• Complete Background Check, DMV check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver's license, social security card and valid auto insurance
