Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Establish and maintain production procedures to maintain high standard of manufacturing operations, product quality, reliability, and safety.

  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

  • Lead efficiency improvement within the manufacturing processes.

  • Responsible for assisting in the raw materials inventory accuracy.

  • Develop and implement manufacturing methods and techniques, such as Lean, Kanban, 5S, DFM, Poke-Yoke and lead the waste reduction efforts in the Manufacturing area.

  • Plan future manufacturing programs to obtain maximum value from production resources such as equipment, machines and testing as well as personnel.

Education/Skills:

  • BS in a Manufacturing Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.

  • Prior experience in aerospace, automotive and/or DC electrical systems experience highly preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Proactive, creative and a problem solver who thrives in a dynamic work environment.

  • Experience in 3D modeling and assemblies, FRP processes, assembly, design and develop tooling and fixtures is desired.
