- Establish and maintain production procedures to maintain high standard of manufacturing operations, product quality, reliability, and safety.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Lead efficiency improvement within the manufacturing processes.
- Responsible for assisting in the raw materials inventory accuracy.
- Develop and implement manufacturing methods and techniques, such as Lean, Kanban, 5S, DFM, Poke-Yoke and lead the waste reduction efforts in the Manufacturing area.
- Plan future manufacturing programs to obtain maximum value from production resources such as equipment, machines and testing as well as personnel.
Education/Skills:
- BS in a Manufacturing Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Prior experience in aerospace, automotive and/or DC electrical systems experience highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Proactive, creative and a problem solver who thrives in a dynamic work environment.
- Experience in 3D modeling and assemblies, FRP processes, assembly, design and develop tooling and fixtures is desired.
