1) Answers restaurant phones.

2) Serves customers at take out counter of restaurant. Writes items ordered on order tickets, totals orders, passes orders to cook, and gives ticket stubs to customers to identify filled orders.

3) Wraps menu items, such as sandwiches, hot entrees, and desserts.

4) Fills containers with requested beverages, such as coffee, tea, or carbonated drink.

primarily responsible for serving the highest quality food and beverages to Guests and providing them with an exceptional dining experience while handling cash and credit card purchases.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: To Go Staff must be 16 or older and meet the local requirements for serving food.

To Go Employees are responsible for handling money and Credit Card receipts, so they must be able to count cash, accept payment and issue receipts.

A certain amount of preparation and maintenance will also be required.  Management will inform employees of these duties during the training period.

RELATIONSHIPS: To Go Employees should be comfortable and at ease with Guests in an efficient, friendly and polite manner.  The quality of service is very much a part of the atmosphere and experience of Glory Days Grill. Guests are our number one priority.  The key to our operation’s success is teamwork.  Help out when necessary and do not be afraid to ask for help if you are busy.

Because we take pride in our operation, we ask that To Go Employees monitor the quality and appearance of our products.  The To Go Staff is asked to notify a manager at once if things that are not up to our standards or if any equipment is not functioning properly.

Glory Days Grill restaurants are a busy, fast-paced and active work environment. In a normal restaurant environment, and in particular Glory Days Grill, there may be physical discomfort due to temperature and noise.
