The American Library Association (ALA) is seeking a regular part-time Financial & Budget Manager to join the ALA Washington Office. RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a new position for the Washington Office. This position will manage all financial and budgetary functions of the Washington Office to insure efficiency in spending and the proper allocation of monetary resources to stay within the planned budget for each fiscal year. ALA will also look to the Financial and Budget Manager to collaborate with senior managers to streamline financial processes and identify new sources of funding. This position will also serve in an official capacity on the Business Condominium Board.
SALARY: Negotiable from $35 an hour; based on relevant experience. This is a benefit eligible regular part-time position. ALA has an excellent benefit package that includes medical, dental, generous paid vacation and retirement annuity.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in business related area.
• Minimum of five years related professional experience with business administration, finance or accounting.
• Experience serving on or working with a Condo Board or other similar board experience preferred.
