Our Deli Cooks take pride in creating classic recipes and flavors of a traditional New York deli.  This key role is critical to our success in executing the highest quality food with speed, accuracy and efficiency.

Since 1981 TooJay’s New York-style Deli has been a fan favorite.  With almost 30 locations across Florida, we are famous for piled-high sandwiches, hearty portions of homemade comfort foods and made-from-scratch soups, salads and baked goods.

•	High school diploma or equivalent experience in a restaurant or related field.
•	Flexible and long hours required at times.
•	Ability to stand during entire shift, exerting up to 50 pounds as needed.
•	Must be able to maneuver safely throughout the walk-ins and kitchen during the shift.
•	Able to handle and operate safely: microwave, knives, steam table, gas range, convection ovens, meat/bread slicers, check printer, kitchen display system, scales, automatic dishwasher and all chemical solvents. On some occasions answer telephones as required.
•	Has the ability to reach overhead, carry catering trays and cooler bags, handle hot and cold beverages, bend below the waist, crouch and communicate intentions to co-workers.
