Material Handlers – Processing donations includes sorting, hanging, cleaning, tagging, lifting bags/boxes, and stocking shelves/clothing racks.
Cashier – Accurately input customer purchases into POS system, wrap and/or bag merchandise, restocking clothes, returning items to the shelves, maintain a clean and organized store, assist with customer donations and opening/closing procedures.
Evening Supervisor – Supervise 2+ employees, training of new cashiers, open & close store, handling of cash and other relevant procedures as needed, accurately input customer purchases into POS system, wrap and/or bag merchandise, restocking clothes, returning items to the shelves, maintain a clean and organized store and assist with customer donations.
Qualifications:
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Ability to move and handle bags/boxes of merchandise (lifting, pushing & pulling)
Must have a sense of urgency to maintain fast paced work environment
Production hours are from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (overtime possible)
Cashier hours 3:00 – 9:30 weekdays & day or evening hours possible on weekends
Driver – Collecting, loading/unloading, transporting donations of household goods and furniture.
Qualifications:
Must have Missouri Class E License or Kansas Class C License and have a good driving record
Be able constantly lift, bend, stack, enter and exit cab and box of truck throughout the day
Have good customer service skills, fast paced, safety minded and honest
Ability to pass a Missouri DOT Physical
Monday – Friday 7:00 am until route is completed
Assistant Store Manager - Provides supervision, oversight and management of the operation of a retail thrift store to generate profit and fulfill the Company's mission, which is to increase re-use and recycling of clothing in partnership with non-profits in the community. Job duties include:
* Help develop and implement written procedures for store operations including opening and closing the stores; accepting donations, sorting, and pricing inventory; security procedures for staff and volunteers; handling of cash and other relevant procedures as needed.
* Management of approximately 10-15 store employees, including supervision, evaluation, professional development, and training staff as necessary.
* Analyze sales and inventory in order to provide recommendations, retain customers, and increase sales and profitability.
* Oversee the display of merchandise to enhance the appearance and appeal of the stores and increase sales and profitability.
* Experience, education and skills required include: * At least 3 years of retail experience. * At least 3 years of supervision experience, ideally in retail.
* Familiarity with inventory management, customer service and point of sales systems.
