Breakfast Attendant

SUMMARY:

Responsible for set-up of the continental breakfast, cleanliness of the food and beverage areas and assisting in the setting-up and cleaning for special guest functions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Order or shop for, prepare and set-up breakfast foods; conduct regular inventories of food and paper goods used at breakfast.
• Maintain stock of breakfast foods during continental breakfast.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the continental breakfast area, mop, wipe-down counter tops etc. during and after breakfast hours. Maintain company standards by recording food temperatures and follow codes set by the health department
• Assist in the set-up of meeting rooms and banquets. Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the meeting room during and after the meeting.
• Do grocery shopping and deliver valet and cookies to guests suites.
• Clean the public areas thoroughly each day, according to system standards.
• Code and return all invoices and receipts as required.
• Responsible for knowing hotel emergency procedures and the proper administration of key control for issued keys.
• Notify Executive Housekeeper or General Manager of any problems with cleaning or equipment.
• Fill out maintenance work orders and deliver to designated departments in a timely manner.
• Accommodate guest special requests courteously.
